Bill Marmor started his career at Red Car. By the age of 23, he was editing Superbowl campaigns for Pepsi directed by icon Joe Pytka. In the next few years, he edited for W+K, Nike, Subaru, Coca-Cola, Mastercard, and cut for directors like Tony Kaye and Richard Donner.
He went on to be a charter member of Crew Cuts West and expanded his experience working with Chris Wall and Steve Hayden on IBM. Bill also developed a relationship with Mendelsohn/Zien, where he handled the entire Carl’s Jr. account. This proving ground at Crew Cuts paved the way for Bill to open Rex Edit in 2000. During this tenure, Bill won an Emmy, as well as several Clio Awards, New York Festival awards, and London awards. Bill and Josianne Côté (Bungalow 5's owner) collaborated together for eight years at Rex Edit, so he was at the top of Côté's list to be part of Bungalow 5.
Bill will quickly become your favorite editor to work with due to his unbelievable speed, his flexibility and easy-going way of collaborating. He makes editing look effortless.
Marmor is currently available in Los Angeles and New York.
